Verification Seal: Under Reconstruction
Status: Incomplete // Entry last revised by Volunteer Archivist Corps
The Encyclopedia Solarica was once the crown jewel of the Office of Public Records, the definitive repository of knowledge for the Solar Federation and a beacon of its founding ideals. It was meant to be a living record of our civilization, a promise that no truth would be forgotten.
It is a testament to how far we have fallen that this article must now be a stub.
What remains of it today is a shadow of that grand vision, a patchwork effort maintained by volunteers and Space Corps crews who risk official censure for the crime of preserving history. The official servers on Nova Prime were taken offline in 822, and what we have managed to salvage and rebuild is fragmentary.
We are doing what we can with limited resources and less time. The core entries on the Randross, the Verbenubi, and major vessels like the SCS Jupiter's Ghost are stable. The articles on the Solar Alliance and the Federal Compact remain critical for understanding what we were supposed to be.
But so much is missing. So much has been deliberately obscured or lost to neglect.
A proper, comprehensive history of the Encyclopedia Solarica—a chronicle of its creation, its golden age, and its shuttering—deserves more than these few paragraphs. It is a story that must be told with the care and respect it is owed.
That article is coming. We haven’t forgotten. We are still here.
The work continues.
