Hey all,

One of our irregular contributors (aren’t we all! In more ways than one, even.) suggested that we get together and do a weekly/monthly “Away Mission” tabletop game. I think that sounds like a lot of fun, and a great way to give us all a chance to spend some more time in our characters, and to get to know the world we’re living in.

I’m putting together the details right now. It’ll run in roll20 probably, using a modified version of the Kids on Bikes ruleset that I’ve been working up for space themed adventure games. It will be a pretty systems-lite, roleplay heavy game, and a chance for all of us to spend some time live as our characters.

If it goes well, I might ask folks to start recording future events so we have some dialog snippets to use for future episodes of the show.

This is mostly an announcement, but it’s also going to be where I organize the first meetup and share links and what have you, so if you’re interested in participating in that kind of thing, sound off.
