      Matrix, for the uninitiated, is like an open source and federated discord clone.

      It’s “secure” but vulnerable to some well publicized attacks, so don’t treat it like a secure channel.

      It’s free, there are lots of clients. I use Element on mobile.

      We do a little organizing in there, and it’s just another place to riff with collaborators. The forum is the primary method of communication, Matrix is not required, and is considered secondary.

      The matrix room is still open and available for collaborators. Bumping this and then making it super sticky.

      I’m having a hard time joining the room on my matrix client. What is the room name and home server?

      The room wasn’t public, so even with the link you couldn’t join.

      I made it public. Now you can join.
