Mission Report – Crewperson James Andrews
It was requested that the Jupiter’s Ghost wait with the crew of this Generation Ship for the arrival of a transport vessel, which is set to haul them and their ship to a solar federation outpost in the next sector, and kick of a relocation effort to help the crew of the ship get settled on a new world.
The transport vessel, the Theseus is due in in four hours. That means we’re waiting, and I hate waiting.
On the plus side, there’s a massive ion storm forming just ahead of us, and it has the potential to destroy the Jupiter’s Ghost & the generation ship if we don’t take action, so … I’m bored and in danger! Here’s hoping something entertaining comes out of it.
So, big developments for episode three:
1) The crew of the Generation Ship are clones, but they are clones of the crew of the Jupiter’s ghost. Due to a mishap with their Time Drive, which will have been soon to be already damaged by their encounter with us, a genetic profile of the crew of the Jupiter’s Ghost overwrites their original templates in the past. Trilo is responsible for this, probably. We’re still working out the details.
2) At the top of the episode, we’re docked and we’re waiting on a transport ship to come and pick up the generation ship and its crew and transport them all to a solar federation space outpost. They’re due in roughly 4 hours, but a big Cosmic storm is also heading our direction and has blown out our already struggling comms system. The storm hits, and we have Other Malfunctions.
3) There are RUMORS on the ship about why the captain had Andrews lock Doc Muscles in a supply closet. I suspect these rumors mostly come from Lady Moonbeam, but I could be wrong.
4) We’ll close the episode with the comms system restored, having received our next mission (details to come.)
