Rough Draft for my character:
Name: Nyx Kane
Pronouns: They/Them (or whatever tbh)

Works In: Engineering, probably a subordinate of Buzz Kazloŭski
Complains: Frequently (but actually likes their work)I’m Nyx Kane. I grew up on an interstellar freighter working routes between a number of backwater systems. While I took to the spacefaring life very well, I wanted a little more excitement than stacking and unstacking crates. I ended up jumping ship while the freighter was docked at a station and moving from place to place for a while before hearing from a friend of a friend that Jupiter’s Ghost was in need of crew. Exploration and humanitarian aid sounded more interesting than fixing broken replicators on an old space station, so I joined up. I now fix broken replicators on an old space ship. While the work isn’t quite as glamorous as I had imagined, keeping an old ship like Jupiter’s Ghost running makes for engaging work. I will probably reference not quite above board shenanigans that I was a part of from my station-hopping days. Whether or not these shenanigans actually happened is up for debate.

Responsible for filing the official mission reports, but only has that job because he was irritated that no one else was doing it. Grew up listening to the (moderately redacted) released mission reports of the Space Corps when he was a kid, always joked about joining, until one day he just did. Can’t abide injustice, not super bright, gets distracted easily.
